Thomas COGGER Hayes Middlesex 1835

In the name of God Amen.  I Thomas Cogger of Olive Cottage Hayes Middlesex late of The Olive Branch Crawford Street St Marylebone do make this my last Will and Testament revoking all other Will or Wills made by me.  I do give and bequeath unto my dear Wife Elizabeth Cogger during her natural life all and every property of every kind that is to say all the rents and profits arising out of my Leasehold property situate at Hayes Middlesex and likewise in Crawford Street Likewise the whole of the interest arising out of my personal property whether in Government Securities or invested in the hands of Messrs  Barclay Perkins Co Brewers or in any other way whatsoever provided my said wife does not marry again or cohabit with any other man but should my said wife Elizabeth xxxx marry again or cohabit with any other man then it is my request executors hereinafter named do pay unto my said wife the whole of the rents and profits arising out of the my leasehold and personal property for her own sole use and benefit xxxx I give and bequeath unto my daughter Helen Hunter now living at Al(?)bury after the decease of my dear wife all my leasehold property at Hayes aforesaid or in case  of the demise of my daughter Helen Hunter then to heirs to be equally divided by my executors for their sole use and benefit.  I likewise give and bequeath unto my son Joseph Cogger after the demise of my dear wife all my right and interest in the leasehold premises situate in Crawford Street know by the Sign of the Olive Branch being the corner of Homer Street were let to Messrs xxx and xxx or in case of the demise of my son Joseph Cogger then to be equally divided by my executors to his heirs lawfully begotten for their own sole use and benefit.  I give and bequeath to my son Henry William Cogger now in his Majesty’s army one third share of my personal property only that is to say at the demise of my dear wife.  I give unto my three children aforesaid or their heirs in equal proportions the whole of my personal property arising out of Government securities or otherwise.  I give and bequeath unto my daughter Helen Hunter or her heirs the whole of my household furniture linen furniture plate wearing apparel after the demise of my dear wife.  It is my desire that all my just debts be paid as soon as possible and that I may be buried with a suitable and respectable funeral without extravagant expenditure and that morning rings be giving to the under mentioned persons  by my executors.  This being my last will and testament I now appoint Mr John Edwards of No 8 xxxxx Place xxxx xxx St Pancras Middlesex and Mr Benjamin Smith of Uxbridge in the county of Middlesex as my Executors and my dear wife Elizabeth Cogger as my Executrix to this my will and desire Thomas Cogger witness the signing this 18th day of October 1834.
