Robert Trebeck of Burrage 1626

 In the name of God Amen.The 30th day of July Anno dm 1626 in the Second year of the reign of our sovereign lord Charles by the grace of god of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the faith.I Robert Trebeck of Burrage in the parish of Titchfield in the county of Southampton yeoman beinge of good health and of perfecte memory god be thanked therefore.And havinge in mynde sudden arrixxxenth of mortalitie Doe make this my last will and testament.  And first and chiefly I commend my soule into the hands of Almighty god my maker and redeemer hopinge assuredly through the only merritts of Jesus Christ to be made partaker of life everlasting.And I commend my boddy to theearth whereof it is made it is made to be buried att the discretion of my executor.  And as touching my worldly goods which god hath lent me I thus dispose of them.First I give to the Cathederall Church of Winchester one shilling and eight pence.And to the poore people of the parish of Titchfield tenn shillings.  Item I give and bequeath unto Joane my now wife twentie Markes of lawfull Englishe money to be payed unto her by my executor hereafter named two years after my decease And I give and bequeath unto my sonne William five pounds lawfull Englishe money to be payed unto him two years after my decease.Item I give and bequeath unto the children of my said sonne William to only of them fortie shillings a peece  to be payed unto them two years after my decease. Item I give and bequeath unto Clare Shorte my daughter late wife of Thomas Shorte of Southwick  in the county of Southampton deceased the some of fiftie shillings and to only one of her children fortie shillings apeece to be allsoe payed and xx two years after my decease provided or prayers (?).And it is my true intent and meaninge that if any of the legatees in xxxx will named or to whome I have bequeathed any legacie or some of money shall happen to dye or deyte(?) this life before the two years after my decease be expired or ended then my will is and I doe hereby declare that the gift or legacieof xxx or them soe dremge jeef shall come and remayne unto my exectutee hereafter named any thing the  Contrary in anywise not withstanding all the rest of my goods and chattells debts and credits whatsoever or wheresoever my debts and xxxx xxxxpayed and my funeral expences discharged.I give and bequeath unto my lovinge sonne Richard Trebeck xx make my sole executor of this my last will and testament.  And doe hereby nominate and appoint my well beloved friend Thomas Beckesale of S_azluige in the county of Southampton xxx.  And Richard Stymer of the towne and county of Southampton xxx to be the xxxx fees of this my last will and testament and to see this my will performedaccording to my true meaninge and intent xxxxxx.And to ayde and assist my said executor wherewithin xx xxxxxx the best they may or came.And for their pay xxx taken I give them twenty shillings apiece.And I doe hereby revoke and make voyde all former wills by me . xxx.
