Will
of
Richard
Tribick
of Swanwick 1744
In the name of God Amen this twentieth day of December in the year
of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and thirty eight.
I Richard
Tribick of Swanwick
in the parish of Titchfield
in the county of Southton Yeoman being in health and of sound mind and
memory do make this my last Will and Testament in manner following that
is to say First I comend my Soul
into the hand of Almighty God who gave it hoping through the meritts
death and passion of my blessed Lord and saviour Jesus Christ to have to
free pardon and forgiveness of all my sins and to inheritt everlasting
life and as for my worldly estate I give divise and dispose thereof as
followeth that is to say I give to my brothers
Robert and William
and to my daughter
Mary, wife
of John
Cleverly and
to each of them One Shilling and no more.
Also I give to my daughter
Elizabeth Wife
of William
Durman the
sum of One hundred pounds to be paid her yearly the sum of ten pounds
till the whole sum of One hundred pounds shall be fully paid, if she
shall so long live, if not the residue behind at the time of her death
to remain to my son John. Also
all that my estate and Lands called Eyres
Down with
all such goods Cattell and Chattells which shall be there at the time of
my death, I give to my Son James Except the down bed and bedstead with
all its furniture which I give to my beloved Wife Mary to be by her
given and disposed of as she shall think fitt.
Also All those my Leasehold Lands and premises called Burridge
and Cold-parks
with the appurtences I give to my said Wife Mary and to my said Son John the rent and proffitts thereof (after payment
of the above Legatie to my said Daughter Elizabeth
attending to this my Will) to be held by them jointly so long as my said
Wife Mary
shall live and after her death the whole to be and remain to my said Son John his executors debtors and assigns And I do hereby make
constitute and appoint my said Wife Mary
and my said Son
John joint
Executors of
this my Will but my said Wife not to have any advantage by survivourship
in my said leasehold Estates And if any other Goods Chattells or
personal Estate shall be left after this payment of my debts and
funerall expences I give the same to my said Executors In Witness
whereof revoking all former and other Wills by me heretofore made I have
to this my last Will and Testament set my hand and Seal the day and year
first above written.
