In the name of God Amen. I
Dorithy
Hoton
being sick in body but
of sound mind doe make this my last will and testament.
Imprimi I bequeath my soul into the hands of my gracious redeemer
and my body to be decently buried. Item
I give to my grandson William Waller the sum of twenty pounds of good
and lawful money of England to be paid at the age of twenty one years
and also a flat silver spoon with a pair of plain sheets and pillowbys
and in case he should dye before the age then I give seven pounds ten
shillings of ye money to be equally divided between his 3 brothers.
Item moreover and besides I give to my three grandchildren sons
of

Waller
the sum of fifty
shillings to every and each one of them and to my grandson
Nicholas
Waller
my silver dram dish:
if any of them should dye, the survivors of them to have it equally
divided amongst them. Item I

my biggest silver ???

bed and a large pair of sheets markt in his own name with a pair

give to my son William Waller a Jacobus piece of gold to my son Thomas
Hoton a Jacobus piece of gold and to Will. Hoton my son the next biggest
piece of gold; Item I give to

Chandler
and
Richard
Franklin
each of them a ten
shilling piece of gold. Item
I give to my son William Hoton half of my books;
Item doe constitute and appoint my son Thomas Hoton sole executor
of this my last will and testament to receive and discharge all debts
and to keep the remainder for himself In witness whereof I have hereunto
sett my hand this 9th day of November in the year of our Lord
1691 and 3rd year of their Majesty’s Reign King William and
Queen Mary bye Grace of God.
