Plan your holiday at Mill Close Cottage

Holymoorside village is a ten minute walk from the cottage. Bar meals are available at the Bulls Head, one of two friendly local inns. A network of marked footpaths runs past the cottage door, including the Holymoorside History Trail.

The old 'Crooked Spire' town of Chesterfield is four miles away. Enjoy a trip to nearby Bakewell and its famous Monday market. The Meadowhall Shopping Centre is about half an hour by car.

There is easy access to the tourist attractions of the Peak District National Park including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Cromford Mill and the Castleton Caves. Matlock Bath, the Heights of Abraham, Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle and Sherwood Forest are all worth a visit.
